Keynote Speaker: Dr. Sam Reimer

We are excited that Dr. Sam Reimer will be our conference speaker providing 3 plenary addresses. Dr. Reimer is a beloved sociology professor who has taught at Crandall University since 1996. He received a BA (Hons) in sociology from the University of Waterloo, and his MA and PhD in sociology from the University of Notre Dame. The focal point of Sam’s research has been the sociology of religion, notably evangelicalism in Canada, Britain, and the U.S.  Dr. Reimer builds relationships with students that promote student transformation—intellectually, socially, and spiritually.

Pre-Conference Excursion

Join in an optional daytrip to Prince Edward Island to see more of the beautiful Maritimes! Indicate interest on the registration form to receive more information.

Workshops

For the last several years the CACSD conference has included TED Talk style workshops presented by members from across the association. Each session includes a 10-15 minute presentation followed by a brief Q&A—a format that has been a fantastic way to highlight the diverse expertise and experiences from within our community.

Do you have something worth sharing? Whether it's a practice that's transformed your work, a topic you're passionate about, or an insight you wish someone had shared with you earlier—we want to hear from you. Click the button below to submit your proposal and help shape this year's conference!
